March 8 2021 - The puppies are all growing very fast now. We spend as much time outside as weather will allow exploring and playing in the sun. Winter still brings some cold and snow on occasion so on those days we play inside. Second shots are due this week along with health checks. We have contacted all puppy families for this litter and hope to be making final decisions on placements soon. Each puppy is something special! We are very excited for their new families!
February 20 2021 - The frigid weather lifted for a couple days and the crew ventured outside for the first time! They had a blast with mom, dad, and grandma who sunbathed from the safety of the patio furniture! They spent most of the afternoon exploring and basking in the warm sun and even sampled some melting snow! Pine needles helped provide for a great game of keep away! Weaning is complete, although they still like to see if the milk bar is open. First shots were given and toenails trimmed. Personalities are really coming through as is a better idea as to how they may develop. Evaluations have begun and we hope to be complete in a week or two. Once they are complete we will be in contact with our deposit families regarding availability! We are very excited for our families as each pup is simply outstanding!
February 12 2021 -The crew is growing and really starting to show great personalities! Weaning is in full swing as the puppies sample kibble and raw. Teeth are coming in for most all of them and they are definitely trying them out on everything...including mom and people! They love to explore their play area but their favorite activity is wrestling with each other! This group has a good sampling of smooth, broken and rough coats! Toenails have been trimmed and they had their first worming. We are really enjoying watching them grow! Each pup is stunning and we are very pleased with this litter!
February 3 2021 - The pups are exploring the play area just outside their whelp box. They are getting their 'legs' and starting to run in spurts. This usually results in falling and getting up to try again! They are all very curious about anything new introduced and have started to crawl into our laps when we get into the pen with them. Teeth are starting to break through and they are sampling hard and soft kibble, but their favorite is still mom with warmed goats milk a close second. They are starting to bark and growl and love to wrestle with each other!
January 24, 2021 - We finally were able to take some pictures today! This are the first real look at what they may look like later on! The crew has their eyes open now, but they still spend the majority of their time sleeping and eating. We have opened up the whelp pen to the play area, but they have yet to venture out. They do play with toys in the whelp pen and love mouthing each other. Such a beautiful litter of puppies! We are enjoying watching them grow!
January 21, 2021- Eyes have just opened! The pups can see now, but still spend most of their time sleeping and eating. Along with eyes opening, they will start hearing too! We place a few colorful toys in the whelping pen to give them something to look at! Tess has been a fabulous mom, keeping all the puppies clean and fed. It has a busy week, but we will post more pictures of the group soon!
January 14, 2021 - One week and a day old today! All the pups have doubled their weights with one of them tripling! They are a lively group who can find their mom anywhere in the whelping pen. They spend all of their time eating or sleeping. We expect to see their eyes start to open in another week or so!

January 9, 2021- Puppies are all doing well and have learned to nurse and find mom easily. This litter was painted in tan and white in the womb with all the puppies receiving some color! Each pup is unbelievably adorable and we can't wait to watch them grow! Tails and dewclaws are due today.
January 5, 2021 - Happy Birthday! Tess delivered 3 boys and 2 girls in the early morning hours of the 5th after a long labor starting the day before. Tess and pups are all doing well. More details after the pups settle in a few days! Welcome to the world little ones!
