This is a highly anticipated cross between Torch and Promise. We expect some very athletic and colorful pups with great temperaments in this pairing. Torch is the son of two National champions with Promise being the sister to a National Champion. Both have excelled in conformation and competition and have won multiple championships of their own. Both terriers have outstanding personalities and should produce some beautiful pups.

This is a repeat crossing between Leonardo and Ambush. We had such outstanding results from a previous pairing that we are hoping for a repeat performance. This cross has produced a well balanced and beautiful terrier with excellent conformation and outstanding temperaments. Both Leo and Ambush are versatile and athletic all around terriers that excel in all they do. This is a special crossing and we are very excited to see the results.

Shavano Creek Hollister "Hollie"
Shavano Creek Hollister is available to the right family. She is the daughter of Shavano Creek Tesla and Bona Venture Torch. Hollie is a beautiful and athletic terrier with a great disposition. She has very fluid movement and great bone. Hollie just turned one year in January and will be spayed soon. She will make a wonderful family terrier and should excel in any sporting activities you may want to train her in. She is very loving and loyal. We take the responsibility of breeding very seriously at Shavano Creek. Any terrier entering our program has been carefully selected for natural working ability, correct conformation, temperament, and DNA health. We gravitate towards an elegant and athletic terrier who is naturally flexible, correct and compact, focused and energetic, yet pleasant to live with. Shavano Creek Jack Russells can be found in show and pet homes throughout North America.
At Shavano Creek, the health of every terrier is very important to us. Each of our terriers is current and up to date on all required vaccinations and are regularly seen by our local vet for wellness checks. All canine parents have been BAER (hearing) & CERF (eyes) tested normal. They have also been DNA tested normal for PLL, SCA, LOA, and DM to ensure healthy parents and offspring. Our entire crew is clear for all genetic testing at this time.
WHAT TO EXPECT :
Our puppies will come home with a five generation pedigree, stud certificate and health record. Pups will have had their first shots, will have a microchip, and will have been started on Heartworm prevention. Puppies are trained to use a litter box and/or paper/pad, will be started in a crate, and may have even taken a ride in the car. Our goal is to make the transition from our home to yours as stress free as possible!
RESERVATION POLICY:
Shavano Creek puppies are often sold by reservation before they are born and we frequently have a waiting list. If you would like to reserve a place on our waiting list please contact us for an application. To reserve a place on our reservation list we require a $200.00 non-refundable deposit Please note, we do not ship puppies.
Terriers are sold to approved homes only. Our primary objective is that each terrier we place be well matched to its new human family and their living situation. We screen potential buyers for a thorough understanding of this breed’s working characteristics, intellectual needs, tolerance of children, and boundless exercise requirements. A suitably fenced yard is a must! Please keep in mind that Shavano Creek JRT always has the right of first refusal on every puppy. As we believe this will be a lifelong commitment for everyone involved, we do our best to place each pup in the best home possible for both your family and the puppy!
Although we make every effort to match the right puppy with the right home, we understand that sometimes life events beyond one’s control can interfere with even the most perfect matches. Consequently, we will take back our terriers at any time during their life.
