April 11, 2022- Here are a few final pictures of the girls . This was an introduction to the stacking table and all the pups did so well! We are so pleased with this litter and know the families will be too! We will be hanging on to Whiteout (the all white girl) to see how she develops into adulthood. Look for her in pictures here and at field trials this year as she is a spunky little girl! 

 Thank you for following our beautiful litter's first few weeks of life! We hope you had fun! 
April 4, 2022- Welcome to the Shavano Creek Family! The first puppy from Bonnie's litter went home yesterday and we are thrilled! Little black eared boy struck gold here in Colorado and will be living the  good life with his new family! He's already settled in and acts as if he's been with them all his life! Congratulations!! 

We expect to make decisions on the girls this week!

March 28, 2022 -  We are behind in puppy evaluations due to the birth of Dotties crew, but we have resumed again this past weekend. Many thanks to our families for your understanding! Here we have a few table shots which is a part of our evaluation process. This tells us a lot about their personality and conformation.  We administered puppy Volhard tests this weekend to help determine character traits too. The whole crew went in to the reproduction vet for hearing tests on Friday. Each pup passed with flying colors and the whole office fell in love! We anticipate another week or so of evaluations.  We are very impressed so far with this litter. Each pup is outstanding! 
March 20, 2022 - It was a busy week and the puppies are really growing fast! Personalities are developing and they are exploring more and more. We go outside every day now (weather permitting) to explore and play. Lessons are learned from well behaved adults and mom.  In addition to learning social skills,  the crew had their vet check and the first round of  shots.  Toenails were trimmed and a round of wormer administered. They will go in for their hearing test (BAER) this week . Our evaluation process has begun and will take roughly a week or two to complete. This means puppy families will be notified soon of availability. Each puppy in this litter is outstanding and we are very excited for the families who will take one home. This is such a gorgeous litter! 
March 12, 2022 - The FUN age is here and the puppies are all doing well!  Everyone continues to grow and weaning is complete. Puppies had their first round of vaccines this past week and toenails were trimmed. Today was another beautiful day so we took the puppies on a field trip down to the barn.  Mom, Dad, and some of the crew joined us as the puppies had their first experience free roaming outside. We spent a lot of time exploring, playing, and soaking up the sunshine. We also enjoyed watching them so we may have taken an over abundance of pictures... please enjoy!! Everyone had a blast and they are already looking forward to the next time! With warmer weather we'll definitely explore more of the property again! 

March 4, 2022 - The puppies enjoyed a trip outside to play in the sunshine. It's been unusually warm so a little fun and sunbathing are in order. They are each developing wonderful personalities and are a very active bunch! This group of puppies really LOVE people. They want to spend as much time as possible with you! Such a special litter of puppies. The families who take one home will really have something special! 
February 24, 2022 - It's been over a week since we've checked in and BOY have the puppies grown! They have finally ventured out of the whelp pen and weaning has started. They are sampling milk soaked kibble and goats milk daily. Personalities are really starting to develop and they enjoy exploring the many stimulating activities we have set up in the play area. Their new favorite place to sleep is a great big donut bed in the middle of everything! They are ALL cute as can be and we can't wait to see them grow! 
February 13 2022 - We have eyes and can see you now! Hearing is has also developed. Puppies continue to grow and are still sleeping and eating most of the time. They have wandered out of their whelp box only briefly and prefer the safety of their enclosure. Personalities are just beginning to show! 
February 6 2022-  All is well with the pups and they are growing fast. They spend all their time eating and sleeping. They are getting strong at crawling around the whelp box to find mom when she moves. Today we noticed that one of the pups' eyes are starting to open. Soon they will all be able to see and hear! The fun starts once they  can see and decide to venture out more! Stay tuned!! 
January 31 - All is well with the new arrivals. Here is a peek at each individual pup. Dew claws and tails are done and all are doing great! They are gaining weight  and growing and are very vigorous eaters!  They spend all of their time eating and sleeping. Mom is settling in to a routine and keeps the pups well fed and clean. She enjoys getting out of the whelp box a time or two a day for some time with her people and a back scratch. Once that's done she's all about getting back to her pups so she can clean and feed. Good girl Bonnie! 
January 28, 2022 -It's been a busy week with Bonnie delivering her puppies in the early morning hours on Tuesday. Mom and pups are all doing great! Her humans are still recovering as she started labor early Monday and sleep wasn't an option!  Each pup arrived strong and ready to eat!  2 girls have good color and one is all white (our favorite!)  The boy has black ears and is just adorable! Bonnie is a first time mom and while she wasn't completely sure about all the fuss, her maternal instincts kicked in quickly. She's a perfect mom, carefully cleaning, feeding and curling up around her cuties!
