- Midwest Summer Celebration- 
​Sandwich, IL 2022- August 2022

We hit the road in August and made it out to the Midwest Summer Celebration in Illinois! We were able to bring many more terriers this time...probably TOO many...but we had a great time!! The first day of trial was highlighted by downpours and sunshine while the second day was very pleasant! The show goes on -rain or shine- so we had fun whatever was happening! Bona Venture Torch won BEST family Sunday with his pups Scorch, Bree, and Pepper. Leo always gives it his all bringing in a senior GTG Championship and his granddaughter Whiteout bringing in championships in GTG, SE, T&L and others both days! Everyone won a ribbon or two with several big wall hanger ribbons. Each terrier and human had a ton of fun!! Jon and I enjoyed our trip through the heartland and the time spent together, visiting friends, and time with our crew!!

With our current crew of older puppies in training, we decided to venture off to Washington state for a get away and to socialize the crew. A terrier trial seemed like a great place to start! We have been training for a few weeks and thought the pups were ready! We should have packed an extra bag as these pups did exceptionally well! Charisma 'Cassiie' (a Sampson daughter) won Best bitch pup Reserve Best puppy on Saturday and Best Bitch pup and BEST puppy on Sunday!  She was also puppy racing champ both days!! She decided to turn on her Go-To- Ground skills on Sunday and was Champion GTG pup! Scorch also brought home BEST dog pup and BEST puppy dog on Sunday! Bree and Pepper had a lot of fun too with ribbons in racing!  All the pups enjoyed our adventures after the show too! It was a fun trip and we all had a great time!  A well run terrier trial and cooler weather made for a great break from the heat wave we had in Colorado that week!
